During the press setup sequence the press operator can display any reader spread section using SoftProof. With a folded press sheet, the press operator can quickly check the colour balance and coverage of ink accross an open spread section to ensure an even balance. Spreads can be checked when the left and right hand pages are split on either:
A: The same side of the sheet.
B: The apposing side.
C: Different sheet sections.
Reader spread collation and display applies to Work & Turn, Work & Tumble and perfecting for saddle stitch and perfect bound binding. |
