Pictorico's advanced, patented coating comprisesa mono-directional layer of regularly spaced, fine ceramic crystal particles. Exhibiting superb transparency, flatness, and resistance to ink smearing, this technology ensures outstanding image clarity with a high-gloss,mirror-like surface. Pictorico coatings have a vast number of regularly shaped pores typically 10mm in diameter, actually smaller than a droplet of ink. Conventional ink jet paper coatings have random pore diameters of about 20nm and, therefore, cannot deliver the coherent light reflectivity of the Pictorico coating.
