RDT (Real Dot Technology)

The GUI shows the display listing of ripped files from the CTP along with the fully colour corrected rendered files ready for display with thumbnail icons for easy identification. Each front and back section has its own Navigator and Channels Display.

The pressman can revert to View Imaged Display the original Half Tone Screening from the CTP ripped files.

Real Dot Technology was pioneered by Serendipity. RDT ensures that the dot structure on a proof is preserved from RIP that produce 1 bit screened data. The same screen ruling and angles that appear on the SoftProof are the same as on press. The original half tone screening can be displayed using the View Imaged mode.
